Anyone played in any 2006 USPC events?
I was thinking about playing in the $500 buy-in NLHE event on the 23rd at the Taj. Was wondering if anyone had played in any of the events so far this year. How big are the fields? How good/bad are the players? Has the Taj cleaned its carpets since 1997?

Re: Anyone played in any 2006 USPC events?
anyone plan on playing any of the $300 NL events? Curious about the probable size of the field and can't seem to find an official blidn structure.

Re: Anyone played in any 2006 USPC events?
I played in a $300 one last year. There were a little over 100 players.
The blind structure was in fairly slow increments and the levels were 45 minutes. Slow it was a reasonably slow structure, much different from the Taj's $300 Saturday tournament. There was a WSOP circuit event in AC at the same time, and people were complaining its structure was too fast, and the Taj's was better. The level of play was not great. Some ordinary pros and other decent players and a lot of donks or semidonks. |

Re: Anyone played in any 2006 USPC events?
Taj posted the blind structures (Hmm, the link worked and then it didn't.)
(Maybe the above image works?) If nobody reports in with structures/starting stacks for the sats before Thursday, I'll report my Wednesday night experience. |
