I like the flop raise. BB may be betting a jack or FD. who knows what utg has if those stats are accurate.
Turn is a blank so I think you should bet here too. River is an auto raise. nh. |

His line is weird enough that I play it the same way. He might have a four, but I've seen bad players play jacks and flush draws this way. Naturally, you have no fear raising the river. Do take some notes in this hand on his holding, and what might have been going through his head during the play. It should pay dividends against this opponent in the future. |

You aren't folding a flush draw by offering 5-1 on the turn (i.e, you can't protect your hand) plus given the action there's a reasonable chance that you will get 3-bet by UTG. A flop-to-turn stop and go from a loose and passive player usually indicates a fairly strong hand.
Your overpair is good enough to call down with, but not to raise with when an apparent loose-passive player is making some tricky plays. |

I think I would raise that turn also and probably call down if I get 3-bet. If the hand makes it to showdown, make sure you see what that guy had so you can take some notes on that turn donk he made and what it meant.
