Somehow got 911 on the line and a cop showed up at my door

I dialed a number that had nothing to do with 911 and I somehow got the 911 operator. I thought it was the person I was calling who was joking and went on about what I was calling about. The guy is insistant it was 911 and what was my emergency. I told him no emergency, that apparently it was the wrong number. He told me I needed to answer a bunch of questions. I told him I still wasn't sure he was the 911 operator and I wasn't answering any questions.

A few minutes later a cop bangs on my door. He says he needs to investigate these calls. Asks me bunch of questions. Asks me if I got home early from work. I said I worked from home. He asked what I did. I said software development. I didn't think it would be good to say I was a professional gambler. Cop asks to look through my condominium to see if I there was someone else who called 911. Cop is satisfied no one is imprisoned and leaves.
