What's your basis for saying this?

Accroding to this and other stuff I've read the answer is yes it will run windows.

Did anyone else read the reports that these new machines are 2-3x faster than the PowerPC versions and think to themselves: WTF?

yeah apple is pretty much a total bs company when it comes to doing benchmarking. you gotta wait for a 3rd party to do the testing.
