Default smart or stupid? bluffing tight player (180 4.40 PS)

Reads on the guy were that he played very tight. I was playing semi tight also. Previous hands that he raised, he raised to 800 and 600 so I thought he probably didnt have much and I could try to make a move. First time I reraised whole tourney I think also. He has been with me for a while since 50/100 blinds.

I wouldn't mess around with this hand. He mini raised from UTG+1 and you said that he is very tight. If you do want to try to play back at him you need to make a real raise PF and not a mini raise if you want to get him off of his hand. YOu best bet is just folding PF.

So I have this friend who doesn't know what FPS means. Obviously I do, but I can't explain it to him. How would you explain to him what FPS means?

Tell it to the master of FPS. I've donked off half my stack twice of the same MTT within 30 minutes (and still have a healthy stack).

It means to play better than you actually are and you donk off 50-100% of your stack because you have no clue on what you were trying to accomplish.

Or you were trying to accomplish too much when the obvious play is most often the correct one.
