Minbetters scare the [censored] out of me
Villain is 44/20 and seems rather donkish. I don't think i really like this fold bc he might think AJ is the nuts i'm just not sure. What do you guys think?

Re: Minbetters scare the [censored] out of me
Donkey McGee hit his flush on the turn. Good fold. Whenever I see people lead out into pre-flop raisers for a min-bet it's always a flush draw.
I would've shoved the turn. |

call and fold to a river bet [/ QUOTE ] min-raise (for cheap showdown), fold to an all-in, and check a blank river behind |

call and fold to a river bet [/ QUOTE ] the other dude is never not betting the river after this action. folding now is way better than calling and folding river. i am not really excited about folding anywhere though. against a 44 vpip donk, it's really tough for me to fold a QQ overpair. use your read, if he has shown down crazy hands and does stupid [censored] then don't fold. |

Re: Minbetters scare the [censored] out of me
Villain does not have the flush here very often in my experience. He would have just called the flop raise with a FD. My guess is a set or KJ/AJ.
His turn lead looks more like a set than KJ/AJ, but those are still possible since he's a donk, especially if he has a high club to go with it. Minraising here and folding to a raise or a river bet looks cool. You should be ahead about 30% or more to make this play, considering the amount you put in the pot and that he might draw out even if you are ahead. Folding looks OK too. Calling will usually leave you facing a riverbet against this kind of player even if he holds AJ. He will probably bet that weak on the river, so you could plan on calling a small bet and folding to a big bet. |

Re: Minbetters scare the [censored] out of me
Minbet->min3bet is usually the nuts from donkish players. I'd consider folding to the flop 3bet
