Default WSOP Practice Tournies - Interest?

Hey all,
In mid-late June I would like to kick off a series of 3 WSOP Practice Tournies. 1 would be structured like the Main Event, 1 would be structured like the 6-MAX NLHE and one would be structure like another tourney, PLO perhaps. We could go all here and run sats and give out bracelets and such for this and make it a substantial buyin, perhaps $500-$1000 for the Main Event, this could be easily attained through sats that could start as early as next week. Who would be interested in such an event?

obv interested in anything of this nature. as long as for the structure, you make blind levels 1/2 the live ones (90 min -> 45 min, etc)

edit to clarify: i meant the length of the blind levels

Well I am going to put some calls into the Harrah's people to see if they had any idea how many hands are dealt per hour there (I think it is less then normal B&M play due to inexperienced dealers) and then make the adjustments needed to make it as close to the real thing as possible.

Now the real question is should we make these sorta high buyin tournies and make it sorta a "MTT Championship" or perhaps just make them like $50+$1?

Well if I opened this up to P5's and RPG and FCP I think we could get a nice little prize pool and field.

If there is sufficient interest I can start working on sponsors and such.

i'm pretty sure 1/2 the hands per hour is a fairly accurate estimate. but feel free to contact whomever.

Less work for me = better
1/2 works.

Sounds like a good idea, but (and I'm being a bit self-concerned here) what are you thinking about for satellites? I couldn't afford a $500-$1000 buy-in, but the satellite option would be nice.

Could this be the start of something like what the Zoo does, but for the MTT forum?
