Default AKo

No read yet.

Do I cap this flop?

Do I call this turn check raise and then call the river?

Villains screw play on a 3 flush board makes me sick, am I crazy for wanting to fold this? I really do this we are either reverse dominated or MP3 has a flush/set.

Noob grunch:

I would cap the flop, especially since villain didn't cap preflop.

I'd call down after the turn c/r cuz i'm chicken.

Yeah the C/R on the turn is very worrying, I think I'd refer to my notes on that one. But as it is I'd no doubt play it the same. I think he's with hit his flush or may be he had A9S so he hit his 2 pair on the turn.

Without reads it is difficult though

EDIT yep defin cap the flop

He 3-bets on the flop, the preflop 3-bettor.......He's saying top pair no good.
Maybe I'm weak, but I call down from there.....when checked to....I would have done the same as OP on the turn....

Against an unknown, I think OP's line is perfectly reasonable.

I find this hand interesting.

When your opponent bet the flop, I would have been inclined to call down, with a view to raising the river.

Thats because I would like to encourage my opponent to continue to bet into me with an underpair, instead of possibly folding to my flop raise.

I also would not have liked my opponent to possibly call my flop raise, but fold to a turn bet if I my hand was best.

From the way this hand was played out, I suspect that your opponent also had AK.

I think that its a close decision between calling the 3-bet and capping the flop. I suppose that I would probably lean to capping the flop.

I think that your hand was too strong to fold to the turn check raise and river bet. I would also have called both bets.

I'd cap the flop, and call down the turn check raise expecting to see AK to AJ hearts - anything else would be nice.
