Default Vegas in the summer

Hey guys... was thinking about spending a large portion of my summer in Vegas, probably for most of the WSOP and maybe for the whole summer (early may-early august). I was wondering if anyone knew of any cheap options i might have as far as lodging is concerned, basically anything that is in Vegas and not too terribly far from the strip would be OK. Thanks in advance!

Unknown, but I have a feeling that OP's chances increase if he has a leaf blower

These places run a couple hundred a week. Some are in some bad neighborhoods but others are not so bad and close to the casinos. There are some cheaper but the risk to life and limb goes up as the price goes down.

I guess the root of this disater was definitely your friends PF play. Not the fact that he got 6 callers or the fact that a trash hand out drew his hand. Like already stated earlier, if $12 is the standard bet your friend being at the table long enough would know that this raise would not get anybody out. Therefore he must have been raising for value which is insane with 6 players already in. If he was raising to thin the field which would of been the most logical reason then he should of bumped it up. This just tells me that your friend doesnt play that well (no offense). Honestly though, he should of known how loose the game was and the correct action to take. I know that the larger raise PF doesnt guarantee that MP2 folds but it does increase the chances. I guess it would be better if you edit your poll. Instead of asking 'was this the right move', maybe you could ask 'how would you play these aces pf at this type of table' blah blah or something like that. Just my 2c.

If you are going to be there more than 30 days then you can probably get the room tax waived in any hotel type of place you stay. Call and ask for the rooms manager and work out a lease deal for the 2-3 months you want to live there.
