Default Should dealers provide hand analysis?

Ihad an argument today with a young dealer at a charity poker event. It was during a STT. I caused my Opponent to fold QQ when I went over the top to a nut 4 flush draw.

Opponent showed his QQ and immediately the dealer said "Oh... you shouldn't have folded those, he didn't have you beat." Etc.

IMO, I think the dealer was dead wrong in saying this. I told him so, and he started arguing with me.

Opinions? TIA

No he shouldn't have. But in many charity events, anything goes. The feeling is that nobody should care who wins as long as the place gets is money. It leads to some very awkward situations sometimes.

I've seen dealers refunding chips, giving out free chips to busted players, giving all kinds of advice.

I guess the idea is that you get a lot of inexperienced players who are just there for fun and the charity wants to give them the most fun for their money.

if you're in a casino, that's grounds for never tipping the dealer in question again.

at a charity event, take whatever is lodged in your anus and put it into storage for the event's duration.

Where did this come from??

You post a question, a number of people do not only answer you but also agree with you and somehow you find a reason to make a comment like this over the board.

I totally agreed with you at first but if you also behaved like this at the table the loss of future tips from you were probably more then made up by the extra tips the other players will give him for pissing you off.

LMFAO

I'm a dealer (in a casino) and volunteered at a charity event last summer in Cleveland where there is no legal poker. The dealers were pitiful, but at least there was poker to play. The place was packed every day.

And no, dealers shouldn't provide hand analysis.
