Default Dear ...

Dear Buddy,

Its called pokertracker..

Your welcome,
Brian

EDIT: I highlighted the important stuff

[ QUOTE ]
IT'S MY MOST DARING AND AMBITIOUS PROJECT EVER...

Hey Brian,

A month ago I had a huge breakthrough.

I'm not talking about a simple "aha" moment...

I'm talking about a RUN THROUGH THE STREETS NAKED screaming
"EUREKA! EUREKA! EUREKA!" kind of moment!

(But not in a Will Ferrell kind of way.)

Anyway, here's what happened...

I was checking my email, replying to poker questions from
readers, when I came across this question:

*** QUESTION FROM READER ***

Hey,

My online poker room shows me stats about my play like flops
seen, flop winning %, hands won, and showdowns won %.

What %'s should I be shooting for? How do I know whats good?

Thanks in advance. Your newsletters have really improved my
playing.

This is actually a common question. I usually reply with the
advice to "see a low percentage of flops, win a high
percentage of showdowns", and so on.

But then it occurred to me...

What if there REALLY WERE "ideal" numbers players should aim
for with these statistics?

Then I took it one step further...

What if there was an "ideal" number of times you should
perform specific behaviors-- like pre-flop raises, post-flop
bluffs, check-raises, and so on?

I started to think about it.

Of course, every poker game style is unique and different.
So it'd be IMPOSSIBLE for there to be "exact" numbers...
right?

That's what I thought too-- until it hit me.

*** MY "EUREKA!" MOMENT ***

There are hundreds of thousands of people playing online
poker EVERY SINGLE DAY.

And in every ring game... every Sit and Go... every
multi-table tournament... THERE ARE ALWAYS WINNERS.

Over time, if you analyzed these winners, patterns would
emerge...

You'd find that single-table Sit and Go winners tend to play
tight in the beginning... and avoid bluffing until later in
the game.

You'd find that ring game winners tend to limp-in with low
pocket pairs... to bust their opponents when they hit trips.

What else would we find?

Well, here's what's interesting:

If you analyzed enough games-- and enough winners-- you'd be
left with EXACT, IN-DEPTH STATISTICS about the "ideal" way
to play online poker based on your unique style... am I
right?

You'd have a complete SYSTEM for:

* Starting hands
* Betting patterns
* Bluffs
* Positioning
* Blinds
* And more

It would literally be like having a step-by-step BLUEPRINT
of how to consistently win!

Can you imagine how POWERFUL that would be?

Can you imagine what you could do with the information if
you knew step-by-step EXACTLY what the "average winner" does
in a high-stakes ring game? Or in a multi-player tournament?

It would be incredible.

It'd be the "ultimate" poker strategy guide, actually.

Of course, to pull something like this off you'd need three
things:

1.) A way to COLLECT detailed statistics about online poker
games...

2.) A way to ANALYZE all the data and make sense of it...

3.) ENOUGH data to make concrete "conclusions"...

Lucky for us, the online poker rooms already solve the first
problem... with a little thing called HAND HISTORIES!

Hand histories are stored on your computer after you finish
each game. They contain an exact "recap" of what each player
did in every situation (including the WINNER).

These hand histories are a GOLDMINE of information.

The second thing you'd need (a way to ANALYZE the data) is
the hard part...

Someone would have to create a sophisticated software tool
that somehow "decodes" every hand history, compile the data
into weighted stats, and separates out each game type...

Well I've got good news:

I AM BUILDING THIS EXACT SOFTWARE TOOL!

Well, I'M not building it. My software developer is doing
all the coding... (He's a friggin GENIUS by the way.)

Anyway, this thing kicks ass. You put hand histories into it
and it immediately spits out detailed statistics about the
winner... like what hands they played, how often they bet,
the "turning points" of the game, and more.

Neat, huh?

OK, so I've got the first two things taken care of. I have a
system for COLLECTING the online poker data and a way to
ANALYZE it...

But there's one thing missing:

THE DATA ITSELF!

I have some data (from my own poker games and the people
I've coached)-- but I need more.

A LOT MORE.

And that's where YOU come in...

Since you play online poker, there are hand histories on
your computer.

And I want them!

I want your hand histories so badly... here's what I'm
willing to do:

When I get enough data to put into my software program, I'm
going to compile all my "research findings" into an eBook.

This eBook is going to be the "motherload" of poker guides.

And because the information is so valuable, this baby is
going to be EXPENSIVE.

(I forgot to mention... even though my programmer is a
GENIUS, he costs an arm and a leg!)

Anyway, not only will this guide be expensive, but I'm also
going to RESTRICT THE NUMBER OF COPIES DISTRIBUTED.

Let's face it, if too many people get this information, it
won't be as valuable anymore. And since I want to use this
system MYSELF, it's better if I only publish the eBook for
a limited number of players.

*** HELP ME HELP YOU! ***

Like I said before, I need your hand histories.

In exchange for you giving them to me, I'LL SEND YOU A FREE
COPY OF MY FINDINGS ONCE THEY'RE COMPLETED.

I expect this to be sometime during the month of May.

You'll get the complete eBook I put together... 100% FREE.

You'll discover the exact "blueprint" for success in every
online poker game type... from tournaments to ring games.

All you have to do is EMAIL MY DEVELOPER AS MANY HAND
HISTORIES AS YOU POSSIBLY CAN (100 minimum).

That's it!

*** HOW TO SEND YOUR HAND HISTORIES ***

Just follow the instructions on this webpage to submit your
hand histories and get your FREE copy of my research.

It takes less than 2 minutes... and it's so easy a monkey
could do it.

Talk to you soon.

- Roy

P.S. The data you submit will be held 100% confidential and
secure, of course!

P.P.S. It doesn't matter if you won or lost each hand...
because each hand history summarizes how EVERYONE at the
table played-- not just you.

So just follow the instructions on this page. It will show
you step-by-step how to find the hand histories on your
computer... depending on which casino you play at.
