Default KJs

Wild, erratic UTG opens, I cold-call K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in the CO, an unknown 3-bets otb, the blinds fold, UTG call, I misclick cap and they call.

Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG checks, I bet, Button raises, UTG calls, I call.

Turn: 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG checks, I check, Button bets, UTG calls, I call.

River: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
UTG bets, I raise

The pot is 13 BB when it's my action on the river.

Try to keep from making this a preflop post please. I have already talked about it with enough people to understand the situation better. Postflop is where it's at here, I hope.

its hard to put UTG on a hand. is he bad enough to call AJ/KJ/QJ on this flop without a flush draw?

only JJ makes some sense really. but anyway, when it gets to the river it seems that you may be slightly ahead of UTG's range.

but, i would not assume button would ever fold a better hand to a raise here. so i dont really think raising is going to help us win the pot. and since i feel about tied or just a little ahead of UTG, i'd rather call and hope to collect an overcall from button with 66-99.

I dont like the river raise. I think there is a pretty good chance button is ahead of you and--if he isn't--I think going for an overcall is good.

Given your preflop misclick I think going nuts on the flop might be ok. He may make a mistake on the turn if you 3 bet the flop (either a free card or folding a hand he shouldn't). I think the river is sort of ok but only works if you had button beat anyway.

I dont like it. I dont think button is ever folding an overpair here (or at least anywhere near often enough for this play to be correct), plus you still have to have UTG beat

I can't imagine button folds an overpair even close to often enough to make this worth it...

Go for the overcall. Not folding overpairs and you want a middle pair calling.
