Pitchers Duel
Okay not really. More like extended batting practice. KC and Minnesota just can't hit but the guys pitching tonight can't pitch so it should all equal out
Actually I am of the school that bad hitting beats bad pitching. Bad pitching beats no one. Anyway despite the offensive struggles of these 2 teams I like the over despite a crappy line. Over 9.5 runs at -125 still has value. Mays and Radke have both been pathetic. Mays OPS against is a whopping 1.142 while Radke betters that with his 1.136 number. Mays walks more than he strikes out and Radke has whiplash from watching all the dingers opposing batters hit. In 5 starts 3 of Mays' games have gone over 9.5 and his over record is 3-1-1. In 5 starts Radke games have gone over 9.5 4 times and his over record is 4-0-1. I hate this kind of line but I think it still has value with these guys. The Yankee/TB game has a similar pitching matchup (both starters +1.000 OPS against) but it's been offline. I'm guessing the over there will get bid up substancially as well. |
