My heartbeat

Does anyone else ever get really paranoid when trying to sleep in a silent room and you can hear you heartbeat?

Then you try not to think about it but it's still there, and all of a sudden your chest tenses up and you think you can stop your own heartbeat, and when you do you could die?

Like you can breathe automatically for most of the time, but you can stop breathing, and choose to control it if you want to.

Does anyone else ever get paranoid like this?

Yeah, because after 30 sliders, 6 french fries, and 4 cherry cokes, there is a very good chance that your heart will stop beating all together.

anyway, i started a thread about this once, sort of. for awhile i was experiencing being really conscious of my heartbeat and it pumping through my body. it was really annoying. i'm not sure if this is what you're talking about or not, but i'm pretty sure everyone convinced me it was stress/anxiety or something. and they were probably right because it went away on it's own.

What's a stone anyways (in kg)? I always hear that unit used but never bothered to look it up.
