Unorthodox KK line ... bad?
I prob see an ace here WAY more than a FD but I was just stubborn.
Is this flop worth cbetting vs two opponents oop? Should I continue if called, as I did? No read other than some PT stats of about 30/8/2.5 after 25 or so hands. Re: Unorthodox KK line ... bad?
Unless I have a certain read on his riverplay I think bet/fold on the river is marginally better than check/calling. He is only betting an ace or a missed draw and his calling raise is a lot wider IMO (him being in the BB). I'm not concerned with bluffraises on a board like this. I think it happens never.

Re: Unorthodox KK line ... bad?
Hand 1 I think you played fine. You can argue for a bet, but I think check/call is just as fine.
Hand 2, that flop check is bad. |

Re: Unorthodox KK line ... bad?
yeah now that I look at it the flop check is real bad.
I play mostly NLHE and I tend to check behind here with KK to try to get to showdown as cheap as possible. Maybe I should rethink that (especially for LHE). |

Re: Unorthodox KK line ... bad?
in limit you can afford to take a bit more risks than in nl b/c your whole stack isnt at risk

Re: Unorthodox KK line ... bad?
HU flop checks in limit=blasphemy.
I can't tell if hand is bet/fold or check/call, i'd like to see someone make a compelling arguement for either. |

Re: Unorthodox KK line ... bad?
hand 1:
river is a bet... this guy wont give you credit for the ace and will call with a 6 a lot. These types arent the "wait till the river to raise tp" types |

Re: Unorthodox KK line ... bad?
In Hand 1 I'd bet river but I hate all your choices there. I prefer check/fold to check/call I think.
Hand 2 looks good to me I think its funny that everyone is like "OMG he didn't bet the flop after raising preflop!! The sky is falling!!" -DeathDonkey |
