Default Partypoint Changes

PartyPoker has now capped deposit points at 2k per month.

Good news for NL players though, they finally upped the points for NL games.

Just did some calculations, NL100 & NL200 players still getting hosed. I have no data for stakes above this, others are welcome to contribute. Here's rake stats from my PT database:

Average rake per player = total rake / avg # of players per hand.

3/6 6max
-----------
$1275 avg rake per player over 9,066 hands
14.1 cents per hand
42.6% hands raked
12 party points per 20 raked hands

NL200 6max
-----------
$2936 avg rake per player over 19,641 hands
14.9 cents per hand
70.9% hands raked
4 party points per 20 raked hands

NL100 6max
-----------
$21,015 avg rake per player over 213,407 hands
9.8 cents per hand
74.7% hands raked
4 party points per 20 raked hands

1000 hands of 3/6 6max = 255 party points
1000 hands of NL200 6max = 141 party points
1000 hands of NL100 6max = 149 party points

Basically NL200 6max players are paying more rake than 3/6 6max players per hand and getting FAR less points for it. NL100 6max players are paying 69.5% of the rake 3/6 6max players are per hand and they get only 58.4% as many party points.

edit: just did some more math regarding hands per minute at each level (it varies a bit from limit to no-limit) - the results were much the same for rates of rake per hour vs. points per hour - still far more points for the 3/6 6max player than the nl200 with an almost identical rake per hour.

[censored]. I was just really happy with Party after seeing they added some nice items to the store. Now I'm more unhappy than I was with them in the first place. There goes an easy $40 a week. Can't say I blame them but this still sucks
