Recommend some Firefox extensions
OK, so I'm finally getting around to switching from IE to Firefox, mostly because I want to use some sweet extensions. So now I need you to recommend your favorites. Also, how do you install them? Is it really simple (I haven't tried anything yet)?

Re: Recommend some Firefox extensions
If you post pics here, this Imageshack extension uploads the image to imageshack without having to save to your computer first. So you can rehost and not hotlink.

Re: Recommend some Firefox extensions
The firefox extensions are great. Here are a few I use that were not mentioned above, you should be able to easily search for them.
All-in One Gestures: Make things like reloading pages, opening new tabs, going forward/back, etc. easy with a quick click of the mouse. Better Gmail: Combination of a lot of scripts that make using Gmail easier/better del.icio.us extension: Easy access to tagging/account at Del.icio.us Dictionary Tooltip: Double-clicking on a word pops up a dialogue box with its definition Gtranslate: By double-clicking on a word or a phrase I can get a quick translation in my language of choice. Google Notebook: Quickly highlight and save info for later Download Statusbar: Docs the download dialogue in the status bar at the bottom instead of using the pop-up box. Grease Monkey: Allows you to install quick scripts that people write to improve pages (sort of like mini-extensions). I use a bunch of others, including some mentioned above. They are extremely easy to install, you basically just click on "install" and then restart Firefox. |

Re: Recommend some Firefox extensions
I like flashblock
It gives you the option on each flash object of whether to view it or not. |
