Help with a transfer type posts
Any thoughts on these?
I believe it had been determined that it's fairly easy to cheat someone out of their money a lot of the time. Should they just be deleted on site? thread in internet forum |

Re: Help with a transfer type posts
I don't know about transfer posts, but this guy is a totally lame poster. He asked for a transfer about 6 months ago and he still hasn't figured out Neteller in that time? He's also got alot of "hey lets do a 2p2 tournament guys" posts, and basically starting alot of threads but not really responding in any of them or even his own.

Re: Help with a transfer type posts
I assume that every transfer proposal is a scam. Is that off base? What's the rationale behind needing to trade money without security? Just to avoid the time it takes to withdraw + deposit?

Re: Help with a transfer type posts
I delete all of these types of posts. If the person making the post can be trusted enough, they should have personal relationships on the Forum to help with that type of transaction.

Re: Help with a transfer type posts
Meh. I fired off a pm warning to this guy about his continued lame posting at 2p2. He posts in SSNL sometimes, so felt it was justified. He smells kind of fishy to me (from reading some of his previous threads).

Re: Help with a transfer type posts
I have no idea whether they appear in other forums or not, but both Jim and I think that it's up to the readers whether or not they assist posters in the Zoo who request transfers.
Usually, some do-gooder adds a warning to any relevant threads from "unknown" posters, but, as we don't know how many "PM friends" anyone has, it seems churlish to censor the open requests in general; particularly while they are few and far between, as at present. Perhaps if we perceived a problem with such posts, we might change our view in the future. |

Re: Help with a transfer type posts
My thinking is that since Mat has outlawed staking threads because he doesn't want people upset at 2+2 if the deal goes south, same thing applies here. But meh, buyer beware to a large extent.
