Default HSP, why no Phil Ivey?

I'm sure we'd all just be guessing but I was wondering why Ivey hasn't played this game.

Seems like he always plays the bigger game but IIRC the "big game" has a 100k per person per hand cap. So this game ,although it's 300-600 there have been several hands that would have been bigger than the big game.

I only thought he didn't want to show his cash game on TV. That might be a bad guess but I would think he'd jump at it.

That's what I'm guessing myself. Along with Chip Reese as well. With those 2 it seems making $ is more important than the fame.

Ya Chip too. But that's just it, you'd think they'd run to that table.

it was only one session (I believe over three days, but maybe four). something could have come up with them each personally, or they don't want to show their cards at all when it comes to ring game play.

i would think chip reese's absence would be explained by the fact that they're strictly playing NLHE. he probably prefers mixed games.

Exactly....He could have been on a trip to Walt Disney World for all we know.

I could just see him playing liars poker with Mickey Mouse.

Could be. Could be a scheduling conflict too. Didn't they film this over the holidays. Perhaps he was back in A.C.
