Standard call down even that this villain is quite passive postflop?

I you play villains this much 3.5k hands it may be worth it to make some off the table analysis of his play. Anyway I think u can fold. I don't think he steals with a worse nine than K9 and now the flush got there.

Attempt to steal of 16% ? That seems pretty low to me. Chances are he's raising with a good hand here. I would give this up on the turn. Check calling may be ok, but please take a note of what he's raising with.

Yeah I think 16% of the time he has a hand worth playing on the button. I think his chances of actually stealing here are pretty low and I would give him some credit on the flop 3-bet.

I fold the turn. Villan has shown max strength at every opportunity and he doesnt seem like the kind of player that would take this line as a bluff. But I'd say your A outs are relatively clean, because I think he is paired more often than not.

Why bother collecting stats if you aren't going to use them in close situations like this one? This particular villain wasn't raising light preflop, wasn't screwing around when he 3-bet the flop, and he's not betting the turn just for the heck of it. If you're lucky you've got five outs but it could be worse than that. Fold.

Quick question. Did you play 3.5k hands with the opponent ? or are you datamining ?

In a blind defense, just calling with A9o is fine against more predictable players. The stats on this villain give me the impression of a pretty straightforward weakish TAG.

Fold the turn. The flop 3-bet is probably an overpair to the board and you don't have a spade. Also, his AF is low enough to imply that he's probably calling you down.

maybe in this situation, but as you move up in limits or play SH, I dont think playing A9o passively preflop in these spots is good.

it doesnt hit enough flops. as a result, it makes you play passively on rag boards and consequently give free cards, and makes you helpless on K, Q, and J -inudated boards.
