Default Found second pair on the turn...

Button is 62/19/1.3 (post-flop) over 260 hands. He attempts to steal the blinds 42% of the time. UTG 38/1/.5 open-limping passive dude. I probably could have folded this flop, given the donker's passive nature. Since I didn't, what is the best play on this turn?

Not many replies to this one.

Is a call clearly better than a raise here?

I don't think there is much merit to a raise since you aren't folding out a Q, and 5 outers are getting bad odds to call anyway.

I call the turn, and reevaluate the river.

I agree with this.

I think the flop's also an easy call - you're closing the action and you're getting almost the pot odds you need to hit your gutshot. Implied odds + something for your J and 9 outs = call.

Folding this preflop when two terrible players have entered the pot and when the raiser has a fairly wide range should never be an option.

Folding the flop getting 8:1 with a gutshot and pair outs that might be good should never be an option as well when villains are terrible and will call a turn raise down with BP or even A high.

Stop folding man!

@ OP

I am with Pizzle on turn. Just call and see what happens. I am rarely folding on the river expecting that I beat UTG almost always and button doesnt seem to have me beat given his flop call.
