$39 - HU - little bit of an interesting river decision
What's your river call. Should I just call because villain called flop bet on a dry flop, plus, what is he really going to call a raise with anyway unless he has the case Q....or shove because ZOMG you have a full house, plus it's HU, which is like nuts anyway and he'll call with anything thinking it's a push....
My main reads are that I did not think he had an A because he was pretty aggressive and I thought he would push any A HU facing my pf raise....and he is a winning player over a very small sample size (18% over 126 games). Re: $39 - HU - little bit of an interesting river decision
How does no one reply to this in twelve hours?
Quads are rare, but his line looks like one you might se a Q show up with. Just call, I dont think you have alot of worse hands that pay off a bet here, unless you are HU with kevin mcbride. You still have 3200 chips when he shows up with the Q, and 6k chips vs his 3k when he doesnt. I think if you raise, more often than not you still have 6k chips when he doesnt (unless he mcbrides) and wind up with 0 when he has it. |

Re: $39 - HU - little bit of an interesting river decision
eh, you might be chopping here, yea maybe he can have a Q, but the 39 play is ridiculous and this is HU, people will be calling for stacks just thinking theyre going to chop here more than you could possibly imagine. i actually love overbet shoving, you stack him way more than he stacks you (and yea sometimes you chop) because of how light people will want to call on this board given the action.
edit: i didnt see he was aggro....if he was extremely aggro i suppose you can more argue for a call but for the most part im maintaining the above. |
