becoming an apprentice
I'm pretty bored with life... I want to get some random jobs to learn skills/businesses. Money isn't important. I would be happy working for free, if I was learning something. Say... a baker's apprentice. I wouldn't mind working the register, if I could learn how to bake and the inner workings of the business. Would people take me up on this deal? I would probably want to leave after I had mastered everything though. Anyone have suggestions for industries?

Re: becoming an apprentice
Become a carpenter or electrician, these would be the most practical and useful imo.

Re: becoming an apprentice
Do the Daniel Day Lewis and take up a dying out or rare trade such as handmaking luxury shoes. You'll pull all the chicks.

[/ QUOTE ] This might be the cutest post you've ever made. Is there a swastika hiding in the background of the picture or something? |

Re: becoming an apprentice
OP-- Become a carpenter or a contractor. Having the skills to build your own stuff and your remodel kitchen/bathroom/etc. is +EV.
