Default Full Tilt, 70$ (200 players): QQ in early position, 3-bet from CO

My girlfriend happened to play the following hand:

Blinds are 50/100, table is 9-handed. She (overall 5th in chips, chipleader at the table with 12k) gets QQ in UTG+1 and makes it 400 to go. All fold, CO (second chipleader at the table with 11k) makes 1200 to go.

=> What to do now? Immediately shove (and scare away medium pairs) oder flat-call and check-raise a flop without K/A?

Any comments are greatly appreciated!

Thanks, Tackleberry.

Interesting. First of all, I don't shove because you are too deep to do that. You turn QQ into 27o by doing this . Also, in this spot, I really want to know CO's stats. If he's been really terrible, I may 4-bet here because "oh boy, oh boy, JJ" may come for the ride.

Call and C/R the flop without a K or A is probably best.

t300 pf to start with.

Just flat call the raise / check - re-eval most flops, prob c/c at least one barrel on non A/K flops (or c/r), but is kinda read / villian dependent and depends on exactly what the flop is.

Surely, you´re right - I actually meant a "normal" reraise.

I don´t have reads on Villain because I just sat besides her (playing myself) and she obviously did not notice anything special about him.

Most interesting indeed was the outcome of this hand: my friend mumbled "reraise", I told her to flat-call. So she did. The board came 79Q rainbow, giving my friend top-set on a dry board. She checks, Villain bets 1800, she calls. The turn comes T. She bets 4k, Villain shoves. Yeah.

So she calls - and Villain reveals 86o for the straight!! The board doesn´t pairs and my sweetie is down to the last place ... and shouts on me to stop berating her ...

see, you played the hand wrong. Once villain bets 1800, you need to RR AI and hope he folds. Did you appropriately calculate the $EV, cEV, sexytimeEV, nowshespissedEV, wtfEV when helping her here?

Tell her to raise to 300 pf, also.
