Greetings to everyone.
Ive played this hand yesterday, no reads on Desiresi.

uweh33 posts big blind [$0.5].

??

Betting this hand OOP is a leak ? Whats the correct play for these kind of hands OOP ?

I check nearly all A high flops in 3bet pots.

depends on your opponent. some people its best to bet, because they'll fold almost their entire range. some people its best to c/c because they'll bet a wide range into you that you can profitably call multiple bets with. some people its best to bet, because they call with a very wide range.

against an unknown, i like betting, because i don't have enough information at that point to say that playing passively will be more profitable than bluffing, but i do know that cbetting is profitable vs. most opponents.

Against a tight opponent i agree with whyzze, against a looser opponent then i fire at it as theres no reason to think he has an A and hes likely to give up if he doesnt have one. Any stats?

I like to bet/fold here, but this is a subject that has been beaten to death with as many opinions as there are players.


There is no one answer, and the real issue is balance, how is the rest of your game constructed (like how would you play AK here ? etc)
