If there was a time to bluffcatch in the micros, is this it? |

Re: A reasonable bluffcatch?
I just don't think villian would fire on two streets without anything, at least at this level. He had to at least catch a piece of it to be firing again on the river. And any piece he caught beats what you hold. I just think you have to fold. It's a small pot, no need to tangle w/ villian right here.

Re: A reasonable bluffcatch?
I didn't be the flop because he had a 0% folds to c-bet and he's not buying it on that one. FWIW.

Re: A reasonable bluffcatch?
dude you realize that your c-bet is for value /protection here? 22 is WAY ahead of his range on this flop

Re: A reasonable bluffcatch?
C-betting for protection is not very good though. If villian never folds, any card besides a two that comes will be an overcard. With villian being so aggressive post flop, you want be able to know where you'll stand. He'll call c-bet, overcard comes, you check and he bets-and you have no more info on where you stand.

Re: A reasonable bluffcatch?
sooo you want to c/f this flop? cause he is going to bet it most of the time if we check in this case I think we got lucky and he checked (which is scary if he is very ago)

Re: A reasonable bluffcatch?
monkey,
I would plan c/c, knowing he's aggressive. If you know he's going to call the c-bet, you know nothing about his range. If we are ahead of his range, he will either fold if we bet on the flop, or float. If we check, we give him the opportunity to bluff. We could c/r the flop, but his aggro stats make this a bad place to do that. |
