Default JJ vs nit OOP

Villain is 15/9/1.27 I'm really stuggling to put the nit on a T here. Does he call UTG pf raise with T9s JTs? What's the best line to take on the turn? Would it have been better to 3bet on the flop or does this just turn JJ into a bluff?

Full Tilt Poker, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

Hero (UTG): $53.25
MP: $50
CO: $55.10
BTN: $47.50
SB: $30.70
BB: $73.90

Pre-Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)
Hero raises to $2, MP folds, CO calls $2, 3 folds

Flop: ($4.75) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $3, CO raises to $6, Hero calls $3

Turn: ($16.75) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $10, Hero?

Why does he have to have a 10? Why can't he have 22 or a slowplayed QQ, KK, AA?

He could also have hands like A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].

JTs, possibly something like 88 putting you on AK. Then again with that he wouldn't min-raise you on the flop. Possibly AcQc?

Anyway, regardless - value shove because you have quad J's

Fair point I'm just really trying to put villain on a range. I'm begining to think b/f as it's not likely that I'm going to get raised by a worse hand.

As played can I call this turn bet profitably?

LOL.. what?

To OP - Any reads on villain, min-raising before? If not, I'd like to keep the pot as small as possible and get to a showdown.
