JJ is 3bet preflop
Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
BB: $8.80 UTG: $26.25 MP: $19.45 CO: $100.30 Hero (BTN): $25.75 SB: $18.55 Pre-Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BTN) UTG folds, MP calls $0.25, Hero raises to $1.10, SB raises to $3.80, 2 folds, MP folds, Hero calls $2.70 (???) Flop: ($8.10) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB bets $4, Hero folds I've only played around 30 hands with villain, but he seems laggy - around 35/20 or so. Also note stack sizes - he's playing with around 80bb. It also might be worth noting that MP is still behind me (but will probably be folding to an overshove) |

Re: JJ is 3bet preflop
Wait i am confused, did MP flat call pre-flop b/c it si not showing up?
I don't like shoving this flop as any hand that gets it in here vs you has you drawing to 2 outs. If villain is as laggy as you say why not 4 bet preflop? |

Re: JJ is 3bet preflop
Sorry, my question is on the preflop action really. The flop is an easy fold for me.

Re: JJ is 3bet preflop
I think this is pretty standard. No need to 4 bet here, its only a 30 hand sample. I would rather take a flop in position with a hand that is way ahead of his 3 bet range. If you 4 bet him you are narrowing his range too much and are forced to call a shove when youre probably behind.

Re: JJ is 3bet preflop
I kind of figured you meant that, but the converter has MP folding preflop after the sb raise. thats why i needed clarifying as to why you are worrying about him.
With that said i dont mind getting it in against these types of players. |
