dont assume anything. the question is, did i play this hand badly, and is it worth it to chase opportunities like this?

edit: there is a 0% chance villain has A10 here

I forget whose theorum it is, but it is said that you should always weight JT heavily in a villain's range when it could have made a big hand.

You realize you have the bad end of this straight right? He might do this w/ a set or two pair but I feel like you're behind pretty often.

I don't mind calling small bets to hit long shots with good implied, but I do like to be drawing to the nuts when I do.

I would have just folded the turn, i thought there was a good chance he would check behind and try to c/r. I thought there was a good chance villain had two pair or better, and i had good implied odds to draw.

villain showed 88, and I took down a monster pot.
