FT white box

Quite often I get the image of a white box appear over an action button right after I've clicked on it. If this continues for 10 minutes or so, I eventually get disconnected from FT. While this is happening the FT software seems really laggy and glitchy. Has anyone else experienced this white box appearing for a few seconds over an action button? Is this just a bad ISP connection or a sign of low memory? Anything I can do?
