Default 75$ 6-handed mtt: Is river a mandatory raise?

only played like 20 hands so far, but it's clear that villian is a weak player who limps too many hands.
I thought about betting turn, but decided to call/bet most river card instead (is that an ok line on such a dry board?). But for some reason the 8 on the river gets my spidersense tingling! Do you bet river/turn, and if yes how much?

I think the river is definitely a vb, you'll get called frequently by worse tens and quite possibly by stuff like 98 that paired on the river, I think any 2 pair hand would have led the river themselves, I can't see villain getting to the turn with just a K (if the turn K makes 2 pair villain would have bet either the turn or river.)

500 or so (I'd probably do 450)...make a bet that he's gonna have a hard time not calling with anything at all.

Value town because you're a champ and so many hands pay you off here. Then you look like a champ to the rest of your table and pwnage ensues.
