Default Wanna read some books:

I started playing poker 2 Month ago,
sice than I try to spend at least 2h a day with it...

To really get behind the game i want to read some Pokerbooks now, i prepared a list:

1. NL Holdem: Theory and Practice (David Sklansky)
2. Sitīn Go Strategy (Collin Moshman)
3. Harrington on Holdem 1-3
4. Phil Gordons Little Black/Blue/Green Book
5. Doyle Brunson
6. Theory of Poker (Sklansky)

Can I read this boks in that order or should I buy some other books or read them in another order?

Thanks for answering,
Papst

I think they are a good choice. I have most of these and am in the middle of reading Theory of Poker (Sklansky). Have Sitīn Go Strategy (Collin Moshman) ordered. Looking forward to it.

Try and take the reading slow and make sure to take it all in. Makes a huge difference.

HOH is a very stong series, easy o understand and put into practice and sure to bring up your ro for mtts by leaps and bounds.
I would read those first then attack the slansky theory books and Phils little books. I would also try to focus your time on mtts first, then sngs when you get a handle on mtts so that you can learn the game before sngs warp your mind.

Forget Brunson. TOP is never a bad idea, but obviously neither Holdem nor tournament specific. Add Poker Tournament Formula to your list, and possibly also the Full Tilt guide (although I haven't read the latter yet.)

Here's how you should do it:

1) Read Harrington 1
2) Read Harrington 1 again! You will be suprised how much you already couldn't remember.
3) Read Harrington 2
4) and again: reread Harrington 2! Work through it. Understand it!
5) Play! Play! and Play!
6) read and solve Harrington 3. If you cant... start reading the first 2 books again.
7) Read "Sitīn Go Strategy". Thats hard stuff! Harrington is easy and much more logical than Moshman. But Collin rocks and his advice works!
8) Read "Little green book" for fun! Its well written but will not give you any more tipps.
9) Forget the rest. Why? Sklansky is good but not what you need. Believe me, i own (and read) all his books
(You might want to try "Tournament Poker for Advanced Players"...). Brunson is not worth the time. Snyder (as proposed) no good for people that have read Harrington.
19) Try these instead (for fun nothing else):
- The Professor, the Banker, and the Suicide King
- Your Worst Poker Enemy
- Positively Fifth Street
- Ace on the river

Hope i could help you.

I think Little Green Book is a great book for beginners to read. I would actually recommend reading this book first. Then HoH for MTT and Moshman for SnG. After those I think understanding the concepts in Poker Mindset and Ace on the River is essential for longevity sake.
