Default NL50 two pair river decision

Wasn't really sure what to give villain here, but I felt that I could be beating some of his VB'ing range and my hand was under-repped. No reads.

That's a scary bet, to me. He minraised pre-flop, which makes it seem like he doesn't want to chase everybody out of the pot. When the flop shows a possible straight, he only calls your 2/3 pot bet. A blank comes on the turn, and he calls your 2/3 bet again. Then an ace hits on the river, and he bets 2.5 times the pot. I'm not sure why he's no longer worried about your straight possibilities. Maybe because you checked on the river?

Anyway, I'd probably lay em down, here. Unless he's a calling station, I'd think that the fact that he followed your good bets to the river indicates he has some strength. I think he's either got AA or AJ.

On the other hand, I have a terrible habit of calling what I think are bluffs, only to be burned. I'm trying to cure that by giving my opponents a little more credit for decent hands than I have been in the past. So my opinion might be tainted.
