High stakes hand I observed (hero very good, curious why he chk turn)

Sorry if this is striaghtforward, just wondering what logic is behind checking the turn as opposed to betting in this particular situation. I guess the stack sizes do seem perfect to me for a turn CR (if hero wants fold equity and or to induce a bluff). Also nut flush draw makes hand potentialy very strong (good equity on turn) but if it misses the hand might not be 100 bb worthy, though maybe it is against this opponent and this board?

Hero's hand is very strong on the turn. Villian seems to be not so good as evidenced by his 38/22 stats through 422 hands. Vilian seems to be calling station with 32% WTSD and 35%W$SD. Villain aggression is 2.7, 2.5, 7.

I assume hero is simply looking to CR allin on the turn as opposed to just fire the turn again. Hero is a very good TAG running at 15/18 through 5000 hands. I guess heroes turn check makes his flop bet look like a cbet that missed on the pot or a not very strong hand (is he just trying to induce a bet here?)
