Re: 60$ -QQ early vs regular
if hes a reg he probably knows you're a reg and knows you're lvl 1 utg raising range so id say he has kk/aa here nearly always.

Re: 60$ -QQ early vs regular
I fold preflop because it looks like he is suckering you in.
Postflop (if the two and a half times raise is standard for him) the situation is pretty neutral EV in my opinion. Sometimes he has TT, JJ sometimes KK, AA. Flip a coin? |

Re: 60$ -QQ early vs regular
Against a reg, his range is at the loosest AA-QQ, AK, with AK being very unlikely if he is good. I would fold pre. As played fold the flop unless u know he could have AK here and will c bet into 3 people, again which is unlikely if he is a good regular (keyword good.)

Re: 60$ -QQ early vs regular
hard to believe he is a good regular with that tiny preflop raise that is giving you/button great odds to call and hit a set.
anyway, i just call the preflop raise and fold to his flop lead. the only thing you can ever beat is JJ. a decent regular is not making that big c-bet vs two opponents with kk/aa. who is the regular? |

Re: 60$ -QQ early vs regular
Am I right that we only call pre to hit a set?

Re: 60$ -QQ early vs regular
yeah set, and well he might have AK so if it goes checking to cheap showdown we can call a river bet maybe.

[/ QUOTE ] Agreed on the raise size, if i know a reg is raising utg level 1 my range would be KK/AA for reraises, and it would be bigger than he is making it. John, i assume you meant to say 'is not making that big cbet vs two opponents WITHOUT KK/AA ?' |
