Default $1/2: Trips facing river shove vs. 2p2er

Villain is blunty31. At the time of the hand he was basically unknown to me since we've never played before. Over the small sample we've played together I had him at 16/7/3.5.

As played I think you have to fold. You should have raised turn and villain's full house would have came out of the wood work. There are really little hands you can beat other than a bluff or KT on this river.

bet more ($50 seems fine) on the river for sure. fold to the shove if you bet $50, its closer since you bet <1/2 pot. How fast did he shove river after you bet?

If I recall right he turbo-shoved the river. $50 seems like a good amount to bet, but I was pretty sure nobody else had a 7 and was hoping to get called by BB's ten.

$37 is just under half pot after you take into account the rake, so it's not quite as weak as it looks.

as far as the river bet, if he calls you w/ a ten here at all he'll prob call $50. i did misread the action though (didnt realize BB called the turn) so definitely just fold the river. i thought this was a c/r by blunty at first.

6's full hoping for your A7s?
He's very aggressive which makes me wonder about a bluff...I don't think this can be a +ev call unless this villain makes large bluffs.

Can I get a hand range for Villain here that's consistent with the flop check behind and the turn overcall?

Hmmm, not a big fan of turning trips into a bluff here. If I raise the turn it's to price out draws, not so I can fold to a reraise. Also, which full house do you think he has here?

I agree wholeheartedly with this.

Couldn't possibly call fast enough.

Explain to me why everyone is so sure he checks behind a 4 way mega drawy flop with 76, 66, TT, T7 or 89? Does all that and just calls the turn with KK? Coldcalls TT or KK preflop?

MAKES NO SENSE.

Your weaksauce river 'block bet' makes his busted flushdraw frisky. Callcallcall.

Yuck. I think that you could have folded pf in MP2.
