Re: AKo, good spot for 2nd barrel here?
I'd check here. He can very well be slowplaying trips, or be calling down with 2 pair (with a 4 or overpair), or he may now have the flush. Your bet will probably not push this guy out most of the time. That is, of course, assuming a standard 40% ttf player from the SB.

Re: AKo, good spot for 2nd barrel here?
I don't without knowing something about SB. His flop range is open to 4x, small to mid PP, flush draw, and 9x (doubtful), overs. He probably could lay down half of his hands here, so maybe it is a good spot.

Re: AKo, good spot for 2nd barrel here?
It's kind of meh.
If he has 88, he might peel again. The Jack isn't high enough - it's much easier to rep Q/K/A. The club hit. People are more straight-forward on paired boards. He might be going for a CR. People are not tricky enough to flop/turn a monster and check/check/check raise river. If you are going to spend $7.5 in this pot, I would do it on the river if he checks to your again, esp on a club. If he fires river I fold. If you check and hit Ko or Ks what do you do? |
