Default $225: TT late, full table

Villain is 10/6.6 320 hands filtered. Normally I'm pretty excited about TT but his stats made me think twice. I guess we're still 8 handed though pretty late so good enough?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t150 (8 handed) TightPoker converter

UTG+1 (t1155)
MP1 (t1435)
MP2 (t1640)
Hero (t1470)
Button (t1375)
SB (t1855)
BB (t1690)
UTG (t2880)

Preflop: Hero is CO with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

You don't want to play TT in this situation vs this guy, imo.

I fold.

Him being tight and not really in a steal position makes this one of the 'sucky laydowns' that gives good players higher ROIs (especially at the higher stakes) .... mp1 is also making it 600 instead of just open shoving (where I think we might have more of a case for a call if we know he is going 600 with monsters and shoving maybe 10% ish? Although 10 ish might be a bit wide for a guy 10/7, however taking the big hands out of his pushing range can be good info for later)

Something to consider is that nits like this generally raise 4BB with hands they know are strong, but still are scared of getting called with. I'd put him on something like 77-JJ here, maybe AQ/J+. Maybe QQ if he's really a scared one. But I seriously doubt he does that with KK+. Which makes it a lot closer, but probably still a fold due to everyone left to act.

I agree with Suzzer here. This is a lot closer than people think especially since I would never fold JJ here.
