your longest break?

just coming off a long poker vacation. this morning is the first time I've played in 15 months or so (online) and my results are terrible of course. good news is im very well bankrolled for the $10-$20buyins i enjoy playing. whats the longest break you might have taken and how long did it take you to get back in the swing of things?

About to end (~3 weeks away) a self-imposed 6 month block on Poker Stars. Was to casual (uploading $21 per go for $3r) and reckless to even consider building a roll.

About to restart playing 4/180's exclusively & seriously.

hmm..

my break was from jan 06 til june 07. i was playing kind of wrecklessly with my new found bankroll, but also had to withdraw most (which ended up being all of it) for college. i'm back now, semi-robusto, rebuilding.

I quit playing poker after UIGEA and Party left the US last fall. Started again in February of this year.

FT'd 4/12 4/180MTTs and had 1 win. So yeah, it was a good return.

well not as much luck for me, but i might not have been as good to begin with [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] did pretty decent thought this might be more interesting to discuss than it was. well. good luck all.
