I never overbet like this ever,and I never call bets like this ever unless I've got the nuts or close to it.....If he's a donl than I guess he could call you with AQ,other than that....only hand that will call you here is a hand that has you beat!

Wouldn't a bet of 2k be ok? If he's got nothing he'd probably fold,if he doesn't,play poker!

nothing inherently wrong with it but why do it? are you protecting you hand? you better be certain you will get a call...if not you are wasting huge value with this at this stage
