NL2 - T9s in SB combo draw
The table had been playing super weak passive. Each villain at the table had a fish icon from PAHUD except for the BB who had a telephone
BB is 25/1.7/1.7. However, when he showed aggression on the turn I figured him for a Queen or two pair. I'm assuming when we flop an open-ended straight flush draw we are taking it to the felt no matter what, correct? And yes, I did take into consideration that villain was short and would possibly go to the felt with me. Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.02 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums) UTG ($3.14) MP ($1.77) Button ($.30) Hero ($2.21) BB ($1.05) Preflop: Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. UTG calls $0.02, MP calls $0.02, 1 fold, Hero completes, BB checks. Flop: ($0.08) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players) Hero bets $0.08, BB calls $0.08, UTG folds, MP folds. Turn: ($0.24) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players) Hero bets $0.24, BB raises all-in $0.95, Hero calls. So is this super standard? Or should I have shoved the turn instead? Thanks, AC |

Re: NL2 - T9s in SB combo draw
Greetings AC. I have no expertise in 5-handed 2NL. However, I do like the way this was played. You were able to see a cheap flop, flopped a SD/FD with 15 outs, making you a slight favorite (using the 2/4 guideline, 60%, but I believe it is a tad less). I'm definitely taking this to the felt after the turn, even though seeing the Ten didn't thrill me.

I dunno what thos ePA Hud icons mean especially the telephone. However, this hand looks well played.
