Pocket Jacks OOP Facing Opposition
Villain has not really done much this entire session. He bought in short and has just been folding, much like the rest of the table.

Re: Pocket Jacks OOP Facing Opposition
So he sounds pretty tight passive- folding and buying in short.
If he 3bets you- his range is probably pretty small (unless you have been a bully at this table). If he's tight - his range is probably QQ+ (maybe JJ+ but you have 2 of them), AQ+, KQ maybe. The Q doesn't scare him so your probably beat. Depending on how passive I thought the player was, I'd either cc flop and re-evaluate turn as you did or just fold flop. |

Re: Pocket Jacks OOP Facing Opposition
I was thinking I have to call flop despite his passiveness just in case it was 1010 or AK, which would then give up on the turn.

Re: Pocket Jacks OOP Facing Opposition
If that's your read, fine- I'm ok w seeing turn. Not sure if he would be this aggressive with 10s- stats would help.
Hope you didn't call turn |
