I wouldn't try to bluff AA here. 1. He could very well have picked up nut flush draw about a 25% chance of that logically speaking.
In 6 max do people really toss here? I think you need a much more intimidating board than this. You need a board that looks like a str8 draw, flush board, or paired board to get a pair of aces to dump their hand unless he is very tight. You see his chip stack? He can afford to gamble. I wouldn't mess with him when he called your flop raise. |

I don't hate the flop check raise but I definitely dislike any continuation in this hand from you once he's called your flop raise.
As Janelle said, if this was more coodinated, on occasion, it might be right to fire another barrel but he could have picked up something additional himself. c/r fine...insta-slowdown once called though and you don't improve. |

w/o reads I think it's spewtastic. The read you need would be knowing what is UTG opening range is. The average player on FullTilt @ this level has a range waaaaaay wider that AAxx.

If you check raise the flop, villain will likely slow down with AAXX and you can see a cheap showdown (but I guess you want to win it right there).
You appear to be suffering from a case of FPS. I have seen too many villains unable to let go of AAXX hands to make this move profitable in the long run IMO. It is possible he has straight and flush draws to go along with his top pair (if he even has AAXX). If you put him on AAXX then you really should know your villain well before trying to steal the pot postflop OOP. check/fold flop. |
