If you fail a midterm for your major you might as well drop out of school. You don't take the subject serious enough to study, you're not gonna use it when you graduate, you're just wasting time and money.

Well it happens to be a unique situation.

The midterm was in Econometrics, which is pretty much a bull [censored] part of what I want to do with my econ degree, and to top it all off we aren't even doing econometrics we are doing [censored] statistics.

I'm pretty sure I'm in with other Econ professors at my school however (who have tenure and are nationally respected) considering instead of studying for my midterm today I talked with one of my other professors for 1.5 hours about the constitution, and other various topics.

Oh well, goodbye major GPA of 3.8!
