Default 5/10 FR Live - bad young Korean LAG overbets the turn

Villain in this hand is a typical horrible Korean gambling LAG - refuses to fold a flush draw no matter what the bet is, regularly peels flops with gutshots OOP against PSBs, calls raises with any two suited cards from any position, etc. Basically he is one of two players at the table that I am sticking around for.

I don't know if this directly relates to the following hand, but I stacked him about an hour previously in a 600+bb pot so he may be looking to gamble against me. He is now on his third buy in (the second 1k buy in was lost when a super tight player raised from MP and he shoved from the bb with KJo and was snap called by AA). Villain starts the hand with 470. I have the table covered. This is at Motorcity Casino in Detroit, btw.

Two limpers, Villain limps OTB, SB completes, and I check Kc5x from the bb.

Flop: (Pot = 50)
2c 4s 5c

Checks around to villain who bets 50, SB folds, I call, everyone else folds.

Turn: (Pot = 150)
2d (Board = 2c 2d 4s 5c)

I check and he shoves for 410 relatively quickly. WTF. This one was a real head scratcher for me. I literally went through every permutation of insta muck to snap call as I thought about it.

Flop is standard for me and I think I am ahead of the villain 90+% of the time, hence the call, but a c/r sucks. I have never seen him overbet shove before fwiw. No notable physical tells.

I'd bet the flop.

Since you didn't, I'd just fold.

5 people in the pot, drawy board with a million bad turn cards, OOP with a ton of money behind, relative to the pot, two guys behind you, lagtarded player who's gonna put you in tough spots, I'm just over it.

Reverse implied odds are not your friend.

As for the turn, [censored] if I know. I'd never be in this spot.

I was planning on c/folding if anyone but him had bet. SB folded, and the two guys behind me picked up their cards and were clearly disinterested which is why I called. The game was playing pretty passively pf so I would expect to see 66-99 a lot from the nits limping in utg/mp positions. In retrospect, I still probably should have bet, but there were definitely reasons for checking at the time.

I like how you put Korean in villain's description, as if it is the deciding factor. lol. Yea, koreans are krazy

Agreed with Big Jim. Bet flop or c/f. Fold turn as a 2 makes up for most of his range.

lol, him being Korean most certainly is a big part of the hand.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I wish I bet the flop.
