Default Possibly the dumbest customer service rep ever

This week, I traveled out-of-the province for work. I got back today and I'm going through my receipts when I realized one was missing. So I call up the restaurant at about 11AM EST and let them know 'hey, I need a receipt for this meal on Wednesday, to room XYZ, can you fax it to this number'. They say sure, sure, no problem.

Two hours later I still haven't received it, so I called them up again:

GW- "Did you find the receipt?
Waitress- "Yea, we found it"
GW- "So...are you going to send it?"
Waitress- "Well, I'm having trouble faxing it."
GW- "What do you mean?"
Waitress- "The receipt is so small. It won't go through the fax machine."
GW- "...um maybe you could just photocopy it and send that?"
Waitress- "........ok, I'll try that"

Still waiting.

You realize they had to take the receipt to Kinko's to copy it first, right? And I'm sure that meeting of the minds is what is delaying the arrival of your fax.

Does FGators have a side job?

My response wouldnt have been so short as "um maybe you could just photocopy it and send that?" but then i worked in admin a lifetime or two ago so ive no time for dumbasses in situations like these.

Also, most fax machines will take a reciept without any trouble whatsoever if you know where the feed roller is so it can get ahold of it.

Also, if they are too stupid to make a copy or figure out where to make a copy, they could just tape the receipt to a piece of paper and then fax it. I wonder how people like this manage to make it out the front door and get to work without falling through a manhole or being crushed by a falling safe.
