Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players

Villain is unknown, this is the second hand I've played with him (First orbit, never before) I think its either a shove or fold, calling is hoping for slim outs without really doing much. Any comments on your default play vs an unknown here would be appreciated. |

Re: AK vs Unknown, 25nl, turn decision
His preflop call suggests he doesn't have AA, KK or QQ, possible JJ and TT if he is tight. His turn raise suggests that he isn't scared of the K. My conclusion is that he is either slowplaying AA (unlikely) or has flopped 222 or 333.
If he is a total arse then he could have KQ-K9. I doubt he has 888 because he raised the flop. |

I think this is very good if you push now. Folding would be very bad.

Re: AK vs Unknown, 25nl, turn decision
Possibly. I'm not so experienced in 25nl. I don't know how often that is done. I know that alot of people don't do that at micros.

Re: AK vs Unknown, 25nl, turn decision
Personally im ruling out a set, for the simple reason that i think he smooth calls 22 and 33 on the flop giving you another chance to bet into him, as for 888 again i doubt he is making that min raise on a k high board with the eights. Personally i think he is on a flush draw or posibly KQ and is taking a stab after you have shown weakness. What did you do?

Re: AK vs Unknown, 25nl, turn decision
I think we see a set here.We dont know villain so we are not stacking and hope to see KQ.Fold and take a note how he played the hand. Maybe we are ahead, but why stack off and hope?

Re: AK vs Unknown, 25nl, turn decision
This is KT-KQ heaps i rekon. Other than that i think it's only really flush draws and sets. Easy shove. Folding here is burning money because he can't really fold his top pair hands for such a small amount.
