xbox live / msn messenger question

is there some sort of widget or whatever that would let me have my xbox live "buddy list" on my desktop, like an IM client? does that make any sense?

really? You can link your xbox live playlist to MSN messenger?

Yeah. Create a Windows Messenger Account on your X-Box. You'll be able to use this account on your PC.
