You can play online these days, you know. That's probably the best place for a pro if peak earning potential is your main concern.

If you only want to play live I think you will find near unanimous agreement that the LA games are the best in the world. Though there is enough action in Vegas, Atlantic City, Minnesota, Arizona, NorCal, Washington, Tampa, Foxwoods, Tunica, etc. to make it as a pro.

LA for limit and no limit, theres more no limit games at commerce on any given night than in every vegas cardroom combined

I played most of the major US casinos on tour last year. I found the games at Foxwoods to be notably weaker than the others.

Vegas games have been described recently by local grinders as in a similar state to "pre Moneymaker" days.

When out playing this last week, I don't care what time of day it is, but you see everyone sitting around sipping on water, or sodas, and maybe 1 out of 10 getting out of line with their play.
