why are you playing a limit husng?

calling and reevaluating is fine you don't really have another play that is good w/o reads, do you have any history?

I think this is NL .

You're right that calling the flop and check-folding does seem like a weak play and players will start to run you over if you fold this easily .

There is nothing wrong with calling the flop and making a turn bet of around 60% of the pot .If you get raised , you probably know where you stand . If villain calls , then there is a decent chance he's on a flush or straight draw and tried to be fancy with his mini-raise .

Since you probably wouldn't have checked if you had trip 8's , it's a good idea you bet the turn .

Thanks for the help. I like your line: b/c flop and fire the turn again... Next time I will try to make this play.
